‘DIG’ is a short documentary film which explores the culture of English metal detecting. It is character-driven by the ‘tectorists’ themselves; eccentric, history-obsessed, professorial folk. Inside the private arena of club digs, the film observes the eternally hopeful and addictive act of treasure hunting.

‘DIG’ was made by Calderwood while studying with the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, UK.
